The Art of Becoming

Transformation has always existed at the center of my work.

Not as an aesthetic choice alone, but as something deeply personal — a constant process of evolution, fracture, reconstruction, and discovery.

The Art of Becoming brings together different bodies of work created throughout this journey. From my photography pieces, where it all began, to sculptural mixed media works and sculptures, the exhibition explores the tension between perfection and vulnerability, illusion and truth, artificial beauty and authentic identity.

Many of the works begin with an attraction to beauty, seduction, luxury, or visual perfection. Yet beneath the surface, fractures appear. Cracks, textures, reflections, and layered materials reveal something more human underneath — the imperfect parts we often try to hide, but that ultimately define us.

The exhibition also reflects my own evolution as an artist: balancing an analog background rooted in photography and craftsmanship with new digital tools and technologies. Rather than opposing these worlds, the works search for harmony between them.

Presented at Hilton Contemporary in Chicago, The Art of Becoming is not about arriving at a final version of oneself.
It is about embracing the process of continuously becoming.
